Atticus is 2.5!!

*He loved the beach but not the waves and ran away from them when they came in

*He followed Meika around and acted like a dog. He even said her name

*He rocked his dental appointment. They found a small hole in his palate but it's nothing to worry about

*He is talking in 2-4 word sentences

*He fell asleep on a pile of books

*He carries around and sleeps with multiple swaddle blankets and especially loves the yellow one

*He is starting to be more independent. He gets himself into the bath, tries to put on his clothes, helps himself into the fridge, freezer, and pantry

*He went poop on the toilet! 07-18

*He loves to do and say exactly what Gavin and Ava say

*He has the cutest voice, especially when he plays with his toys

*If I make a kissy sound, especially at the store when he is in the cart, he'll usually give me a kiss

*He has been waking up around 5-5:30 since coming back from California

*We call him Mr. Squeeze because he pretends to squeeze with his hands and clenches his teeth and makes a face

*He played so hard at the cabin that he fell asleep on the couch

*He loves to drink anything, especially protein drinks and chocolate milk

*He asks why a lot and copies what people say

*He talks and sings a lot

*We help him pray and he repeats us

*He gives the best hugs!

*He pulls chairs to the fridge and pantry and raids them

*Colby had him say, word by word, then he filled in the last word. Colby said, "I love" and Atticus said "Mom".Then Colby said "Gavin smells like" and Atticus said, "poop!"

*I said, "Guess what?" and he said, "I love you"

*He says "There ya go" when he hands you something

*He is getting easier to understand and is saying more words but he still talks like a monster sometimes

*The birthmark on the back of his right calf is getting darker

*He says "yesh" or "Chas" for yes

*He is a very good helper

*He loves saying prayers and volunteers all the time. He says a-m for amen

*He puts up his pointer finger instead of his thumb for thumbs up

*He eats one side of the Oreo cookie first then eats the other cookie with the filling

*Papa calls him Atter

*He is quick to say sorry and give loves. He is also quick to say thank you and pretty please more loves mom

*He always asks, "school day me?" when we drop the kids off to school

*When he is upset he yells "it's not fair" and stomps around but he is quick to calm down

*He calls the top of things "the top of the world"

*He always says he wants pizza when I ask what he wants for lunch

*He wears size 9 shoes, size 4T shirts, and 3-4T pants

*He started to say "Oh dang it"

*He calls animals by the noises they make, like ribbit, meow, neigh

*He calls his legs his "leggies"

*He said, "I'm glad you're home" after I came home from a meeting

*His typical prayer is "Santa coming a-m"

*He calls pepper "Pepperoni"

*He says I miss you and I love you a lot

*Every time I leave he asks, "Mommy temple?"

*He calls apple juice "attado"

*He can spot Mickey Mouse or the shape of Mickey Mouse everywhere... like his cereal

*He raises his eyebrows and has the best facial expressions

*He always has a messy face

*He loves knock knock jokes. His favorite way to say them is knock, knock, then some animal and after animal who he says poop and then a super silly laugh

*He pulled the fire alarm at the church before our tithing settlement. Luckily is was after 4 and there weren't many people there
