Colby did the sprint triathlon at the Sand Hollow Tri. He did a great job, especially with dry heaving and feeling like garbage the whole run, and finished 11th out of 26 in his age group and 108th out of 355 overall. His time was 1:38:31. It's fun to support him, and I'm so thankful for Janny for always coming too. She helps me more than she'll ever know.

On Our Way Home
After Popsicles and In-n-Out (Ava and Gavin's first burger ever and Ava's first sip of lemonade) we were finally on our way. So much for a quick trip on day trip :) Luckily Cori and Matt were awesome and worked with us. It's not fun having car trouble... especially two weeks in a row! The mechanic in Vegas told us that our thermostat that mechanic in Fillmore didn't even change the thermostat. Luckily we made it back to St. George without anymore problems.

Playing at Jackson and Tyler's
Cori and Matt invited us down to go to Wet N' Wild for Memorial Day. We couldn't pass it up so we decided to do a quick one day trip. Our plan was to sleep, go to Wet N' Wild then head home. Our car had other plans. Just outside of North Las Vegas our car started to overheat... just like it did the weekend before. We had to pull over so many times, even right off the strip a few times, to keep it from overheating. Luckily Colby was able to get us there safely. We were beat when we got there. Gavin was super excited to have a sleepover in Jackson's room. They stayed up way late playing Frozen. Gavin had a blanket around his shoulders and was pretending to be Princess Elsa. They finally tuckered out so we went to bed. The kids hit the ground running and played and played all day. Ava wasn't having anything to do with Wet N' Wild because she needed a nap so we headed home so we missed all the photo opportunities. She was so much happier after though. Gavin and Colby had a blast though playing with the Gage's.

Relaxing
It's funny to see my kids do this because this is where Kylie and I spent most of our mornings. For some reason the kitchen floor was the first place we ended up each morning.
