Splash Pad

Ava went to the splash pad for the first time on June 19th. She loves the bath at home and did well here too. We weren't able to catch her smiling, but I promise she loved it! Gavin loves playing in the waterfalls there and running around. We all had a great time!

Ava's First Solids

On June 17th Ava had her first solids! She did so well and loved having Gavin help feed her. She has been catching onto everything so quickly and wants to grow up so fast!

Gage Family Visit

We were lucky enough to have Colby's sister Cori and her husband Matt and their kids Jackson and Gavin stay at our house. It was a blast having all the kids together. Jackson and Gavin loved watching eating pizza and watching "Wreck It Ralph." We are so thankful to have such a great family!

Father's Day 2013

Happy Father's Day! We are all so lucky to have you in our lives! It's been so fun watching you grow as a father and to see how much you love our kids and they love you back! You are the best!! 

Ava is 6 Months!

Ava's 6 Month Stats: 

 15 Lbs 2 Oz- 28% 

 24 1/8 Inches 6% 

What's she been up to this month: 

*Learned how to do the inchworm that quickly turned into a speedy army crawl 

*Had her first solids of rice cereal and breast milk and did very well

*Props herself up a model pose on her arm while she is on her side so she can see what is going on *Gets upset when toys are taken away or dropped 

*Finally warmed up to Grandma and Grandpa White 

*Can sit up in her baby tub
*Went to California and the ocean for the first time 

*She loves to give and receive raspberries and kisses 

*She lean her head down and into people when she is being held and sees someone she likes 

*She went to Tropic and went on her first hike to the Mossy Caves 

*She is such a mover and tries to get wherever Gavin or Gavin's toys are   

*Is growing up so quickly! 

We LOVE you Ava! You're such a blessing to have in our home! I hope you are always as feisty and fun as you are now.

Gavin's Swim Class

Gavin had his first set of swimming lessons at Dixie State College starting on June 10th. He loved playing in the water and loved playing games with the teachers and kids. There were three boys and two girls in his class. My friend Kim's little girl Avery took them with him. He passed all of his goals except putting his head under the water. It was funny to watch the difference between the girls and boys at the end when the teachers would playing washing machine and dunk them. The girls would go under just fine, but the boys would all scream bloody murder. I think Gavin's favorite parts of swim class was playing with the floating toys and taking a warm shower in the lockers rooms after. It was such a fun experience! It is definitely going to be something that we do every year.
