Gavin started his 1st day of preschool. He was so excited and wanted to get pictures of Sadie too. He was a little bit more nervous this year than he was last year and actually let me come in and take a few pictures. He was excited to see that he had a green name tag this year... his new favorite color. His teacher is Ms. Cowdin and he loves all his aides, especially "the one with the spikes on her face and toes." It took me a minute to realize who he was talking about, but there is an aide there who has a really short pixie cut with pointed sideburns. He loves her tons and came home talking about her. I haven't quite figured out the spikes on her toes part yet :)

Ice Cream and the Splash Pad
For FHE we decided that Coldstone and the splash pad sounded awesome. We all had a blast and were grateful to be able to spend time with each other doing things we love... eating ice cream and cooling off at the splash pad can't be beat!

SLC Cousins
We loved being able to spend time with our up north cousins. We were lucky and got to watch Gwen play soccer and score! She is such a great player! Ava and Gavin loved playing with Mason, Gwen, and Kate. We have the best cousins!
Utah Half 70.3
We weren't sure if this race was going to happen. It stormed all night and all morning. We woke up to a downpour but decided that we'd give it a try anyway. The race start time was pushed back by an hour and the skies cleared up and the sun came out. We were excited/anxious to get things started. Colby did great! He finished his 1.2 mile swim in 41.39, his 56 mile bike ride in 3:22, and his 13.1 mile run in 2:51. His overall finish time as 7:04! He's truly amazing! I'm proud to be his wife!

Quiet Time/Finding Waldo
Quiet time and bedtime has turned into finding Waldo time. Gavin loves looking for him and the other characters and finding funny things in each picture. Usually he wears himself out looking at everything.

Kids in the Rain
We were so excited to have some rain and couldn't resist going out to play. The kids love to look for the frogs that live under the tramp and absolutely love to wrestle each other. I'm a very blessed mom!
