Abplanalp Family Photos

Since Leah and Jason were down for Connor's baptism we took advantage of the fact that our whole family was together for the first time in a very long time. It's great to have such a wonderful family and I'm so thankful to always be an Abplanalp!

Christmas 2011

We had a different Christmas this year then we usually do. Colby worked a grave shift on Christmas Eve so Gavin and I went and spent time on Christmas Eve with my family. My grandparents always do Abplanalp tacos and a Christmas program. It was a lot of fun. I love being with my amazing family. Gavin and I woke up on Christmas morning and waited for Colby to get home so we could open gifts before he went to bed. It was actually the first Christmas that Colby and I have been home to have our own Christmas morning. It was nice and relaxing. Gavin seemed to be getting the hang of opening gifts and loved the baby signing time DVDs he got. After Colby woke up we spent some time with each of our family's and enjoyed the rest of the holiday. I'd definitely say that the holidays are better with a kid!

We have tons of toys but he loves to play with the weirdest things!

White Family Christmas Party

The weekend before Christmas we were able to go up to Draper and enjoy the annual White family Christmas/White elephant party. Katie and Scott, Colby's sister and brother-in-law, were gracious enough to let us invade their house for a few days. I didn't take many pictures of the festivities, but we had a great time and were able to sneak out to see the lights at the SLC temple without Gavin thanks to Katie and Scott. It was super cold so leaving Gavin was the perfect idea.

Connor's Baptism

On December 3rd Connor was baptized by my Grandpa Abplanalp and confirmed by Colby! My sister Leah and her husband Jason flew in from Florida to celebrate with us. It was so much fun to enjoy time with family and support Connor in his decision. He's growing up to be such a great kid. I'm glad I'm lucky enough to get him as a little brother! (Ps, Colby informed me after we were taking pictures in the chapel that we shouldn't be doing that... oops! At least we'll know for next time!)
