Tropic, UT/Our 5 Year Anniversary

We went up to Tropic, UT over the weekend to celebrate our 5th anniversary and Grandma Bybee's 80th birthday. We had a very enjoyable time eating pizza at The Pizza Place two nights in a row, walking to the park and talking in grandma's backyard. We were also able to snap some super cute pictures of Gavin and of our little family.

Colby's Graduation

On May 14th Colby graduated from Mohave Community College's Nursing Program! Our families got together and held a little celebration, AKA BBQ, in Colby's honor. We ate lots of good food and enjoyed great company. After dinner and a surprise gift from me (a 32 G IPOD Touch) we attended his pinning ceremony in Colorado City, AZ. It was good to see how close his classmate became through these last two gruelling years. I am so proud to say that I am a wife of a nurse. I love you Colby and am so proud of the hard work you have put into being a student and a father. Gavin and I love you more than you'll ever know!

My First Mother's Day

I had to work at twelve hour shift from 7am-7:30pm on my very first Mother's Day. To say the least I was bummed because Colby had the day off and was able to spend time with Gavin and family while I was working away. I have a great husband though. He made the day special regardless of the circumstances. He stopped by twice so that I could feed Gavin (I hate my stupid pump)! That was one of the best Mother's Day gifts ever! He also brought along with him a card that he and Gavin made and some "Buster Bucks" to spend on music. It loved how creative Colby was this year. I don't think he knows how much it means to me to get a heartfelt gift. It was a great day and I am so glad to be the mother of the cutest boy on the planet!!

Gavin's First Swim!

Colby and I love having time off of work together so that we can spend time with "the kids." We had a sleepover at our house, enjoyed the park and went swimming at the Washington Community Center. It was Gavin's first time in the pool and he loved it! He is definitely a little fish!
