Fun in the Water

Fishlake - July 21st

Everyone left in the afternoon on this day so Colby and I took the kids down to the stream to fish. Gavin was so excited to fish and was beyond excited when Colby helped him reel one in. He wouldn't touch it and I think the actual fish made him nervous, but he loved being just like his dad. Ava was in heaven playing with the grass and watching. Later then night we went to Bowery and got an ice cream cone. As we were eating them outside, Ava and Bud would get all the old people commenting on how adorable they were. Bud was a little ham the whole time.

 

Fishlake - July 20th

Day 2 at the cabin was just as much fun as the first. We played all morning and went on a walk around Fish Lake later on in the day. The boys loved throwing rocks in the water.

Fishlake - July 19th

The kids LOVED Papa's cabin this year. The first morning we woke up we put them on the bed and they both sat and looked out the window forever. Ava mastered sleeping while sitting and loved playing with Kate. Gavin and Jackson ran around and helped Grandpa all morning. Gavin found some bullet casing and put them on his fingers and pretended to shoot things. When it was time for bed everyone was tuckered out!
