On March 27th I was able to get another ultrasound after work. I was not expecting to see what I saw so I felt bad that Colby was not there with me. I was only expecting to see a little bigger blob than we saw last time and I was shocked to see our baby... it's arms and legs were going crazy! We didn't get a picture of it, but the tech who was doing the ultrasound got a view from the bum up and all you could see were it's legs and bum.... I thought that I was going to die. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen!! Hopefully we will be able to get it next time. I don't think I have ever participated in something so amazing in my life and I know it just gets better from here on out. I can't believe I love this little person so much already!

Worry Warts
Lately both Colby and I have become extreme worry warts. Here are a few things that I have been worrying about...
1. We will have a miscarriage or unhealthy baby that will have to spend time in the NICU (this freaks both of us out because we don't have control over the situation)
2. We won't be able to provide for this child
3. I won't be able to teach it the correct things and it's sins will be upon my head
4. It will pick up on all of my bad habits, especially procrastinating and being lazy
5. I won't be a good mother
6. I'll do something stupid and mess up our child
7. I won't be able to nurse
8. I won't be able to work and lose all of the skills I have learned so far
9. I won't make it to the hospital in time when I'm in labor because the hospital is 30 minutes away from Hurricane on a good day
10. The baby will come out with buck teeth and big ears (I know babies don't have teeth when they are born but I worry about it anyway)
11. That I have offended someone lately (especially Colby). These extra hormones have taken my censor off and I just spew out whatever comes to mind, whether it's hurtful or not
12. My legs will be super ugly and full of varicose veins because of having to run around at work all day while pregnant
13. I will have a major medical condition and die while, or shortly after I am pregnant leaving Colby alone or alone with a newborn (this has happened twice at the hospital in the last month that I know of and it freaks me out)
14. My face will get super fat and won't go back to normal
15. I will be an ugly pregnant lady that people will just say nice things to because they feel they have to
16. I will have postpartum depression
17. Our house will make the baby sick (mold, too cold, dusty...)
18. I will neglect Colby and become obsessed with the baby
19. I will be unhealthy during my pregnancy and won't be motivated to lose the baby weight
20. I will gain an unhealthy amount of weight while pregnant because I love comfort food so much
Today, all of these worries lessened after we saw our amazing, precious child. I know I will still worry about these things from time to time, but I know that things will work out the way that they are supposed to if I just have faith. I know that Colby and I have been chosen to be parents for this little spirit for a reason, and I will sacrifice ANYTHING I need to along the way to ensure that I live up to my responsibilities as a parent and the opportunities Heavenly Father gives me.
