2. I am grateful for how excited Colby is for Gavin to come. He has gotten his room almost finished, all by himself. I am not a creative person and it seems like Colby is full of creative, fun ideas. I am excited to post the finished product here soon to show you how amazing he is.
4. I am thankful Colby is the man he is. He does so much for me, so much in fact that I think I am spoiled . At dinner last night he told me of a girl at his work who works, has a newborn and has an unemployed husband. When she gets off work at night she still has to cook, clean, grocery shop, and take care of the baby. Colby serious does more than his fair share and I am so thankful for that.
5. Why is that I have such a hard time bearing my testimony, especially to my family... the people who should hear it most often?
6. Why can't I stand up for myself? I feel like I work extremely hard and always seem to be the last to receive any type of recognition (position advancements...), especially at work while others, who don't work as hard, get all the good stuff?
7. That being said, I am grateful for my job. I am grateful that I am able to supply income into our home so that we can, though we struggle, pay our bills and put Colby through school.
8. Thankful that we get to live rent free, even though it is in Hurricane.
9. I wish that money grew on trees so that I could buy some more maternity clothes. They are so comfortable and it's getting kind of depressing putting on clothes that fit last week that are so tight blood stops flowing the next.
10. Is working on gaining a stronger testimony of the Gospel. It's sad how quickly and easily the gospel can be put to the side when other things seem more important. I am definitely trying to reprioritize my life at this point. I want to be a great example to my family, especially to my unborn son.
11. I am so in love with music and the memories associated with certain songs... Smashing Pumpkins (their song Luna was the 1st song Colby dedicated to me, and told me he loved me in a roundabout way as we were making a tape on my living room floor), Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional all have a special place in my heart.
12. I need to learn to play my guitar. I feel guilty every time I see it and wish that I could play some amazing acoustic music that I love to listen to so much.
13. I am so glad that I have family who have already volunteered to babysit Gavin when I have to go back to work. I don't think I will be able to hold him much when they are around, especially if my dad is there. He such a sucker for babies :)

14. Caleb told me the other day that he didn't want me to bend over because of "you know, your belly." He is such a cute, sensitive kid. I love him to pieces!
15. Connor always gives me hugs and loves, but makes sure that Gavin is safe at all times. He also likes to poke my tummy to see if Gavin will move. I can't wait until he actually really feels him.
16. I love the way that Alexis draws pictures and creates stories for Gavin. She is so excited to teach him anything and everything. Ps, she is also a mini-mommy. I might have some competition!
17. Hope. I love/hate the age she is at right now. She is 14 and lives up to it. She, even though she never really says, is super excited for Gavin. She asked me the other day when I was going to get to see him again with an ultrasound. She is such a good, sweet girl!
18. It's funny to me that my mom and dad have not felt my stomach yet, and come to think of it, it's only been Kylie, Jason, the kids and some of my co-workers. Weird! Maybe I should let them know I am fine with it.
19. When I went out to feed the cats last night I got some serious love. I am not a huge cat person, but I love these two so much, but I would way rather have a dog. They are like my little children and I feel 100% responsible for their well being and love the way that they look at you when you give them a good petting.
20. I wish I didn't care as much about what people think about me so that I could be a more confident and happy person.
21. Grateful for talented people all around me, even though I feel jealous at times.
22. I am grateful for the combination of chocolate and peanut butter. Heavenly!
23. I am grateful that scrubs are so darn comfortable. It seems to be the only things I get to wear lately. I am starting to feel like wearing normal clothes is something to look forward to.
24. I am grateful for loving parents, on both sides, who are just as excited for this little guy to arrive as we are.
25. I am grateful for the joys, and stresses, that summer brings into our home. I love spending so much time enjoying the company of family in the mountains. I just realized, this will be our last time being childless at either of our family reunions this year. Crazy stuff!!
Ok, enough randomness for one day. You can tell I am home, bored out of my mind. This is how it sounds, but 100 times worse inside my head all day long if I don't have a distraction. It's going to be nice to have a full-time distraction in a few months, even though I know I have no idea what I am in for. I ready for a challenge and am so grateful for the chance to be a mom!
