June 2011

This month has been a busy one! Gavin has been busy growing teeth, helping his cousin's Jackson and Hope celebrate their birthday's (1 and 15), showing no fear at the splash pad, going to Pine Valley for the 1st annual Joel and Guenivere White family reunion, making a special Father's Day card for Colby, and playing in the water at Red Cliffs. Colby also took and passed his NCLEX exam in Las Vegas and was hired into the PCA program at Dixie Regional as a NURSE!! We are so proud of him! He's worked extremely hard to be where he is today... plus, he's the BEST husband and father of all time!

8 Months!

Gavin's 8 Months Old!

*He can army crawl like a crazy man!
*He can get up on his hands and knees and will occasionally lift one knee and then fall over
*He has two teeth!
*He's figured out that he likes to be on his tummy so he can get into things quicker
*He loves solids (from a jar), especially fruits, but will gag if we give him anything with texture
*He thinks his Grandpa Abplanalp is the coolest guy ever
*He still takes 3 naps a day and sleeps most of the night
*He has almost grown into his helmet
*He has slight "stranger danger," but will relax around them if he sees that we are interacting with them or if they make him laugh
*Went to Tropic for the first time

We love our little Gavin Man! Ever day is so much better because he is in our lives!
