May Round-up

May, like every month, went by way too fast. It makes me a bit sad to see how quickly Gavin is growing up. He is such a fun little boy and has started to develop such a crazy personality.

Memorial Weekend

Our Memorial weekend consisted of having a lot of fun and eat way too much while enjoying our families. Almost all of Colby's family was down so we were happy to spend time with them. Cori, Colby's sister, made the boys matching ties. I think they look so handsome! The boys lived outside and got wet more times than I'd like to count, but enjoyed every minute of it.

Our Helper

We've had a lot of work to do at the house lately... things have been needing to be replaced left and right. Luckily Gavin is great helper... and my husband isn't too shabby either!

Big Brother

On May 24th we were able to see our little baby! We are due on January 7th and couldn't be more excited... and Gavin couldn't either. He loves to sign baby and then kiss my stomach. He is going to be such a great big brother!

Bedtime

Our bedtime routine with Gavin is great. He usually loves to head to bed because he knows he gets to sleep with his giraffe and triceratops. He has also rediscovered his love for blankets and sleeps with a swaddle blanket and another minky one. We always say prayers after we read. We usually stand really close together. Gavin will hug all of his animals and whoever is holding him. He will usually stop and fold his arms when he start the prayer. He will sometimes say amen as well. It's so reverent and cute!  After we are finished he will push Colby and my head together so we will kiss and then he will give each of us a kiss. It's the cutest little thing!! One day I know he'll be grossed out by kisses so we'll enjoy it now!

Annular Solar Eclipse

On May 20th, our 6 year anniversary, we were able to see a solar eclipse. I was suprised at how well we could see it since we weren't in the "prime" location. Everyone was amazed to see the shadows that were cast onto things. Gavin enjoyed being outside and we all enjoyed being together. We have a great family!!

6 Year Anniversary

6 years ago a married my best friend! I'm so grateful he is such a wonderful husband and father. I couldn't ask for more!
